Production module
The production module is used by companies that only produce a product or configure it to order after the end customer has placed an order. Good examples of modifications could include customised sewing, engraving or embroidering a design.
Identifying and forwarding orders that require production or modification to the relevant department
The Way2Send system will search among the orders placed for those that require action on the part of the production department. Each of these will be accompanied by information on whether a modification is required and exactly which orders need to be produced from scratch. The relevant department will be informed and can automatically start working.
Keeping track of production or modification statuses
The progress of the work related to a given order in the production or modification department will make it possible to predict how long it will take to send it to the recipient. Once the work of this department has been completed, the warehouse and the packer will be informed that the order is ready to be packed. The entire further process is the same as for a traditional order.
